KLK Evidence & Strategy is a research, evaluation, data, and strategy consultancy built around a simple idea: evidence is only useful when people can act on it.

My work has rarely fit neatly into one box. I have designed research, conducted program and community needs assessments, analyzed quantitative and qualitative data, built data systems and visualizations, developed funding strategies, written proposals and reports, managed complex projects, and translated findings for everyone from community partners to organizational leaders.
That range is what led me to create KLK Evidence & Strategy.
Organizations do not always need another report. Sometimes they need to know whether they are asking the right question. Sometimes they have plenty of data but are not sure what it means. Sometimes a program needs to be evaluated, a funder needs evidence of impact, or leadership needs a clearer way forward.
KLK brings those pieces together, helping organizations move from questions to evidence, evidence to understanding, and understanding to action.
My Approach
Research that answers. Strategy that moves.
Good research and evaluation should be methodologically sound and useful. I approach each project by first understanding the decision behind the question: what the organization needs to know, why it matters, who will use the information, and what they need to do with it. From there, I build the approach around the problem rather than forcing the problem into a predetermined process.

Kelli L. Keith, PhD, MPH
Researcher. Evaluator. Strategist. Problem solver.
Kelli Keith is the founder and principal of KLK Evidence & Strategy. Her work sits at the intersection of research, evaluation, public health, data, organizational strategy, and funding.
She brings experience leading complex research and evaluation initiatives, community and organizational needs assessments, quantitative and qualitative analysis, geospatial research, grant development, strategic planning, and data-informed decision support. Her work has spanned local, regional, national, and global initiatives, with particular depth in public health, health equity, rural communities, community-based organizations, and systems serving populations that are often overlooked in traditional data and planning processes.
Kelli is especially skilled at taking complicated information and making it usable. Whether the challenge involves designing a study, understanding program performance, finding meaning in a large dataset, building a case for funding, or determining what comes next, she approaches the work with the same goal, to produce evidence that helps people make better decisions.
